Pasaraya Yat Fong 壹蜂超市, a supermarket group originally from Tanjong Malim will be setting up shop here at Bunga Kertas Business Centre, Bukit Beruntung. The group has got branches at Bidor and Kampar. The name Yat Fong literally translate into "number 1 peak".
The group has purchased around 8-10 shoplots at this area. They will be selling all kinds of supermarket products, grocery produces and other household items. Initially I thought that it will be some sort of medicinal shop but actually this Yat Fong is a mid sized supermarket group from the north.
This place (Bunga Kertas Business Centre) is going to add more vibrancy as so far most of the supermarkets here are more catered to the Malay crowd. Yat Fong can probably differentiate itself to cater more to the chinese crowd. The business model seem to be like a modern chinese medicinal shop, also primarily selling chinese herbs (monks fruits, licorice etc) and infant formulas which so far there is no such shop around the area of Bukit Beruntung doing such business.
