RnR stands for Rehat dan Rawat. It's basically a pit/rest stop along the highways. RnR Rawang is a major highway stop on the North South Highway towards Bukit Beruntung. I decided to do a stop here before heading to Bukit Beruntung to visit their pasar Ramadhan.
The most prominent way to spot this RnR is by the Starbucks Coffee drive thru sign. This RnR spot has got a Starbucks Coffee branch.
This rest stop seems very well designed with all main facilities available. There's modern food stalls, fast food chains, bakery, drive through (Starbucks Coffee) and a Petronas Petrol Station.
The famous food chains around are Dunkin Donuts, Famous Amos Cookies, Starbucks Coffee, A & W and Sushi King. The coffee is Dunkin Donuts is really good, I usually don't go for the donuts as I'm cutting down my sugar intake.
There a spacious children's playground inside for the young ones to be kept occupied. The facilities inside seem quite well maintained.
Mohd Chan Express, a branch of Mohd Chan muslim chinese chains has a branch there.
Famous Amos Cookies stall was also there. They accept all the major ewallets like WechatPay, Alipay, BoostPay and TouchNGo.
Forgot to mention there's also a MyNews convenient stall outlet.
The bakery
Old time favourites A&W by KUB group also has a branch here. My favourite drink during my childhood was the A&W root beer.
The Sushi King outlet seems a bit out of place since normally people go to RnR for a quick bite.
The Starbucks Coffee outlet at the Rawang RnR is joined with the Petronas Petrol Station.
