One of my guilty pleasure I like is to go Bukit Beruntung to buy Tapai. It's basically glutinous rice fermented with yeast, sugar and the wrapped in rubber tree leaves. It's guilty pleasure because it's quite sweet and contains alcohol due to its fermentation.
Tapai is sold at one of the stalls at Bukit Beruntung night market every Sunday. Do be forewarned there is alcohol in this sweet dessert. The Bukit Beruntung night market, sometimes also called Bukit Sentosa Night Market is located just in front of Tesco HyperMarket.
